 I love broth
It is so nourishing and soul satisfying.  My 6 year old told me today that whenever she wants a salty snack, give her broth.
How cool is that?

It makes it even cooler when you have raised and butchered your own meatbirds, which we had the privilege to do this last summer.  It will be ultimately soul satisfying when (God willing) we also have our own carrots, onions (no, not onions, hubby says no onions, too many local organic onions to buy cheaply!!), garlic, parsley and celery with which to concoct the wondrous potion.
