cultural and ecclesiastical abomination of desolation

I recently had the honor of attending Mass and receiving Holy Communion from one of the only men to be excommunicated in the last 40 years.  It was one of the most reverent and beautiful Liturgies I have ever had the honor of assisting at.

As long as this and this and this  and this and this is "in full communion" I will not hesitate to attend Mass at an SSPX chapel.  There is a crisis.

I read this article last night, and could not agree with Mr. Matt more!  I will quote him.

"I am a layman, not a theologian, and as such can tell no one where he can, can’t, should or shouldn’t go to Mass. I will, however, tell anyone who asks what I would do after the fort had been betrayed and the souls of my children are imperiled in mainstream churches—if I didn’t have a traditional Latin Mass center run by priests who recognize the cultural and ecclesiastical abomination of desolation at hand, I would not hesitate for one moment to take my children into the safe houses provided by the Society of St. Pius X, thanking God for His mercy. That is what I would do. "

Todays quote

"Catholicism is the law of life, the life of the intelligence, the solution of all problems. Catholicism is the truth, and everything that departs from it one iota, is disorder, deception, and error."

Will we be Magdalenes in Christs hour of need?

Will we be like the Apostles (other than good Saint John)
who left our Lord in His hour of need?
Will we leave the Church in her hour of need?
The Bride of Chirst suffers now from infidelity of many of her highest ranking members.  Will we run with them in the other direction,
abandoning our Lord for the love of the world
 and its acceptance and approval?
or will we cling to the wood of the cross with the Magdalene?

Will we hold close the dead body of
our Lord as Mary did, before it was laid in the tomb.
Seemingly dead, gone, forever to be no more....
much like our Church seems in the
current scandals and wake of modernest apostasy
and heresy from within the ranks?

Keep the Faith brothers and sisters.

Sewing day

I love homeschooling.
Every day is school day.
Today, after chores, we had sewing time.
All the girls had a project
(except the ones who were sleeping or crawling) to work on.

5 years old is a good time to learn to sew on a button.

Big sister making the Easter dress for a tiny sister.

Learning to sew an apron is a good project for a 9 year old young lady.

And when you are sewing it is a perfect time to listen to an
Audio Sancto sermon on the 2nd and 3rd commandments.
Busy hands, captive ears and hearts...
