November on the farm

Swine, tasty swine.
They think ice looks good for lunch.

The Ladies whom we raised from chicks this year.

Where's the Beef?
Here he is.

Bringing in wood.
My 7 year old drives daddy tractor!  (yes, it is a teeny tiny tractor)

Rescuing eggs from inconvenient nesting places.
Those sneaky hens!
If we had a rooster, we would have some babies
because this hen is broody and very protective of her clutch.

Tiny helper.
Better than easter egg hunting!

Sacred Heart of Jesus, set up Thy Kingdom in our country

"These manifold evils in the world are due to the fact that the majority of men have thrust Jesus Christ and his holy law out of their lives; that these have no place either in private affairs or in politics: and that as long as individuals and states refuse to submit to the rule of our Savior, there will be no hopeful prospect of a lasting peace among nations."
Only Christ, the Prince of Peace, is able to restore in the heart of human society the reign of justice, love and peace which has been shattered by sin and by the rejection—public and private—of God's law. That is why we must work every day to establish the "peace of Christ through the reign of Christ," that is to say the fruitful union of faith and of the fatherland, the Church and the State."
Pope Pius XI in his encyclical Quas Primas on the social Kingship of Christ.

What can we as Catholic families do in the ever increasing troublesome and demonic world that we live in?
Pray.
Pray.
Pray.
Keep to our duty in our state of life.
 Keep our peace of soul.
Keep busy with raising our children for the Glory of God and their salvation.
